Mark Aldam, who was with the Hartford Courant from 1990 to 2006, will now oversee the Hearst newspapers in Connecticut, including The Advocate (Stamford), the Connecticut Post, the News-Times (Danbury) and Greenwich Time. Most recently Aldam was publisher of the Hearst newspaper the Albany Times Union.
