Winners were announced Friday night in Cromwell -
News 12 Connecticut won the top TV award- the Mark Twain Award for overall station broadcast excellence. WNPR-FM won the Mark Twain Award for overall radio station excellence…Aaron Kupec of WTIC-AM won the Walt Dibble Award for personal excellence in radio news and the news department won a slew of awards. The top award for Best Newscast in the television division went to WVIT-TV, NBC30.
