Advocate, Time and Post Reporters Taking a Hike

Happily, we’re not reporting on retirements or layoffs. Reporter and photographer teams from the Stamford Advocate, Greenwich Time and Connecticut Post are walking the  shoreline and chronicling what they find for a series called “Breaking the  Sound Barrier”.  The three papers are owned by Hearst. WTNH’s Kent Pierce filed a story on the project.

Change at the Record-Journal

The Laurel is told that Allan Church is retiring from the Meriden Record-Journal. He’s been with the paper for 34 years, most recently as Editorial Page Editor. Fortunately he will continue to write some editorials on a contract basis. Word is that Editorial Assistant David Andrews may be stepping into his job.
