Author, commentator and broker Peter Schiff announced on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that he would be jumping into the race for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate (that makes 72 candidates now…or is it 73?). Former Connecticut reporter and anchor Mika Brzezinski ended the interview by telling Schiff she’s been hearing from reporter friends back in Connecticut that he needs to talk to the local media too (see the 9:00 mark of the clip). He countered that he “spoke to a reporter from the Hartford Courant”.
Oh, this is going to be fun.
