The old Broadcast House in Constitution Plaza is coming down. Lauded as “a marvel of modern architecture and technology” when it opened in 1961, the site has been criticized in recent years for isolating itself from the rest of downtown Hartford. The location is to be the future home of a $40 million office tower that will utilize “green” technology.
