We at The Laurel have noticed that one of the NBC Connecticut “A Teams” has been anchoring on Sunday evenings as well as weeknights (we says “one of the A teams” because we don’t want to leave out The Pride of Old Saybrook, Lisa Carberg!). We’re told that the weeknight 11 pm team of Gerry Brooks, Keisha Grant, Brad Field and Kevin Nathan are doing Sunday duty during football season (presumably because the ratings are strong at that time and the station wants its first string on air). Stations will occasionally do this during sweeps periods too. Gerry, we’re just glad that golf season is pretty much over so that this arrangement isn’t cramping your style…

They now have Fridays off in exchange. I think that is a pretty good trade off!!
