Paul Bass and the New Haven Independent were first with the story that 2006 U.S. Senate Candidate Ned Lamont has filed an exploratory committee to run for Governor.

Jim Nantz Update

The New York Post highlights today the divorce settlement of CBS sportscaster Jim Nantz.  His ex-wife will receive $1 million per year as well as the keys to his “sprawling” Westport, Connecticut mansion.

Election Results

Former Hartford Courant political columnist Michele Jacklin was elected to the Glastonbury Town Council yesterday. A Democrat, she was the only non-incumbent to win a seat on the council.
