Kristin Thorne has returned to News 12 as a freelance reporter, but will also join FOXnews.com as a contributor.; she will divide her time between the two.  Kristin’s most recent gig was as a reporter and bureau chief for WHTM-TV in Harrisburg, Pa. Prior to that she freelanced for News 12 between 2005 and 2007.

Bold-face names spotted at the Yale-Harvard football game in New Haven on Saturday:  Possible Gubernatorial candidate Ned Lamont…Republican Senate hopeful Tom Foley…Ted Kennedy Jr and wife Kiki Kennedy…former New York Governor George Pataki…Democrat Merrick Alpert. According to the New Haven Independent,  Republican Senate candidate Linda McMahon was there as well.

Rell for Senate?

A devoted Laurel reader sent us this little goodie. Ned Lamont and Ron Reagan Jr. appeared on Hardball with Chris Matthews last night to discuss Sen. Joe Lieberman and health care reform. In that discussion, Ron Reagan suggested a possible opponent for Sen. Lieberman in 2012: Gov. M. Jodi Rell (at the 1:40 mark).
