Monday, March 1:
Seemingly everyone in Connecticut is running for Governor. It’s a job that looks pretty unappealing right now. Coming up, we’ll talk about the challenges facing this Governor and the next one, and get more Capitol news from our reporter roundtable. (Greg Hladky of the Advocate newspapers, Keith Phaneuf of CT Mirror and Christine Stuart, CTNewsJunkie.com)
NPR Ombudsman Lisa Shepard joins us again to answer listener questions. As a longtime reporter, professor and media critic, she’ll talk about what steps NPR takes to assure accuracy and transparency in the news.
John Dankosky will host a newspaper roundtable on Tuesday night at the Mark Twain House in Hartford. Portions of that roundtable will air on Thursday, followed by an interview with the Washington Post’s Bob Woodward (appearing that evening at the Connecticut Forum in Hartford).
