Longtime Journalist Edward J. Cotter Dies

Edward J. Cotter (right), a legend in the town of Derby, has died. He was both a firefighter and a photojournalist. The Valley Independent Sentinel describes his life of public service and devotion to journalism. Our sympathies to his family members who include niece Coleen Marren, News Director at Fox CT.

After 5 years at WFSB, weekend morning anchor and reporter Heather Hegedus is headed to Boston. She’s been hired as a weekend anchor for WFXT, Fox-25.Heather is from the North Shore so she’s going home.
