Chris Senecal, known to many in the media from his work in public affairs – most recently at Cashman + Katz – is the new Communications and Marketing Officer for the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.


FOXCT v. DirecTV

The grassroots campaign is on…Wednesday’s Hartford Courant included a large wraparound that told DirecTV customers their ability to see programming on Fox and CW (the paper’s sisters stations) could be jeopardized by a breakdown in negotiations over transmission fees. It urged customers to call numbers that transfer them to DirecTV so complaints over losing FOXCT can be registered. There’s also an ad airing on FOXCT that urges viewers to get involved and says “conversations are still going on but a deal is far from made.” The twitosphere is also abuzz:
