Two new reporters are joining NBC CT – Todd Piro and Audrey Washington.

Piro joins the station as a reporter after four years with KPSP in Palm Springs, California, where he served as weekday morning anchor for the past two years. He also worked as a reporter, weekend sports anchor and producer prior to his anchoring role. Before his television career, Piro was a litigation lawyer and recruiting coordinator for the Los Angeles law firm of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP and also worked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.
Audrey Washington comes to Connecticut from WJAR in Providence, Rhode Island, where she has been breaking stories for the past two years. Before working in the Ocean State, the Long Island native reported at WSYR in Syracuse, New York and WITN in Greenville, North Carolina. Washington has also spent time behind the scenes at New York City’s Fox 5, Lifetime Television, MTV Networks and News 12 Long Island. She began her career at WRNN, an independent television station in Kingston, New York.
