World Wrestling Entertainment has threatened a lawsuit against the Manchester Journal Inquirer. J-I Managing Editor Chris Powell wrote an editorial that used the P word (pornography) in reference to WWE (founded by Republican US Senate candidate Linda McMahon and her husband). That isn’t sitting well with WWE Vice President Brian Flinn:
“This is now at least the second time you have made false statements that damage our corporate reputation, and the second time you have stated that WWE is involved in pornography,” Flinn wrote to Powell. “WWE programming, like Hollywood movies and Broadway shows, is an exciting blend of action, characters, and fictional storylines of good versus evil entertaining millions every week.”

Good thing his wife, former FOX CT news anchor Rebecca Stewart (now of Hartford Hospital) was there to save the day and call 9-1-1! As he writes,
Resting now – and sore, but I will be fine. Who knew P90X2 could be so brutal??? Again – my thanks – after 39 years, maybe now I have some sense knocked into me!
