The Laurel Club was an organization of Connecticut legislative reporters established in 1909. It was formed “To foster cooperation among legislative newspapermen; to promote better government by accurate and fearless reporting; to puncture the overinflated egos of legislators.”
Ann seems like a nice enough woman, but really has not seemed like a comfortable fit in the anchor chair in spite of being around for years. That said, the content of Today has been on a steady decline and is probably out of Ann’s range now anyways. I would like to see Natalie get it, but fear they are pushing Savannah as a replacement. I will tune out if that happens.
