We report with sorrow that legendary WTIC-am sports announcer Arnold Dean has died. According to a close associate, “His friends and colleagues are heartbroken.” “The Dean of Sports” will be missed by many. Arnold began his career at WTIC in 1965.
WTIC-am will pay tribute to Arnold with a special program Monday night, 6pm-8pm.

Earlier this year we reported that Anne Amato, who has decades of experience covering the Naugatuck Valley, had filed a complaint alleging age discrimation against the Connecticut Post with the CHRO.
