At some point over the last few days, UConn’s Paige Bueckers surpassed one million Instagram followers.
She is the first woman basketball player to achieve this goal in college or the pros and pushes her past Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi in this category. This makes her the Babe Ruth of women’s basketball on Instagram.
According to one analysis, Bueckers has the potential to earn as much as $60,000 per post, easily covering the cost of tuition.
