With less than a week to go before Ground Hog Day, Connecticut is facing a major winter storm that could dump close to 20 inches of snow across most of the state by Saturday night.
The track of the storm has been difficult to predict, leaving local forecasters stumped as to snow totals. But one thing appears certain; it’s going to snow.
How the storm will affect the national ground hog’s forecast scheduled for Wednesday is uncertain, but a prediction of an early spring, less than a week after such a significant storm, would stretch credulity.
