Eight New England public broadcasters, led by WNPR in Hartford, have formed a reporting collaborative.
It’s being funded by a $600,000 grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting:
The reporting collaborative will focus on regional topics like energy usage, climate, transportation infrastructure and immigration issues. It will create multiplatform journalism, including broadcast, digital and town-hall meetings about issues facing New Englanders.
CPB is funding eight regional collaboratives nationwide for the next two years.
