Carlson Goes Prime Time

Tucker Carlson, who studied history at Trinity College in Hartford, has been chosen to take over the 7p.m.ET hour on the Fox News Channel starting next week.

Brit Hume has been filling in during the “On The Record” hour following the abrupt departure of Greta Van Susteren. Van Susteren left in the midst of the turmoil brought about by the sexual harassment suit by Greenwich resident Gretchen Carlson against former Fox News chief Roger Ailes.

Tucker Carlson is the founder and editor of the Daily Caller and has hosted cable news shows before. He currently co-hosts Fox and Friends Weekend.
