The Hartford Business Journal is reporting that layoffs are expected to take place at ESPN through June. The cuts will affect only on-air talent.
While rumors circulate about a possible Sinclair and Tribune Media merger, one analysis says it is more likely Tribune Media would sell off some of its TV stations, but resist a full sale of all its assets.

We have noticed an increased use of drones in the Hartford/New Haven market – so far mostly for beauty shot purposes, but it may not be long before they are used to enhance news coverage in both TV and print.
