Former WFSB anchor Gayle King has reportedly signed a new contract with CBS worth a total of $16.5 million over three years.
King has agreed to stay on as co-host of CBS This Morning. Insiders at the network are said to be pleased with the progress of the show and the chemistry of its three main anchors. Previous reporting has also suggested CBS appreciates King’s ability to represent the network at social events in New York City and elsewhere.
Gayle – the days of turkey gift certificates at Thanksgiving and paying half the cost of parking at the old Constitution Plaza lot must seem like a distant memory!
