Gail Lebert, who has been with the Hartford Business Journal for 12 years, is stepping down as publisher of the paper. She started at the HBJ as advertising director and rose to the top job in 2007.

Gail says it’s time to explore other opportunities. Joe Zwiebel, the founder of the HBJ, will take over as publisher.

The weekly paper(and its website) is recognized as one of the leading business news publications in Connecticut. As you might expect the HBJ broke the story on Gail’s departure. We wish her luck with her next career choice.
