The University of Hartford will host a week long series of events next month to mark the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights Act.
The conference will conclude with a panel moderated by PBS journalist Bill Moyers who served as press secretary to President Lyndon Johnson. The events are free and have been organized in collaboration with the Library of Congress and the Newman’s Own Foundation.
