New Britain Superior Court Judge Stephen Frazzini has vacated his earlier ruling preventing the Connecticut Law Tribune from publishing a story in a child custody case.
The ruling quickly drew negative reaction from various state news organizations who argued publicly and in court that Frazzini’s ruling amounted to prior restraint on the publication of a news story.
An appeal to the state Supreme Court is pending and it is unclear how Frazzini’s latest ruling will effect the appellate level proceedings.
