Former WFSB and Hartford Courant reporter David Ushery is among many local TV reporters headed to Paris to cover the aftermath of last week’s terrorist attacks.
Ushery is now with News 4 New York. He currently co-anchors the 5:30p.m. weekday news, but has held many reporting and anchoring positions at the station.
We noted a few other reporters, with Connecticut connections, questioning President Obama Monday morning during a news conference in Paris.
Margaret Brennan of CBS News, a native of Danbury, asked Obama whether he had under-estimated ISIS. Ron Allen(WFSB), of NBC News, asked a similar follow up that seemed to irk the president who felt he was being asked the same question over and over.
