This weekend UConn journalism students past and present – mostly past – were on campus to celebrate the journalism department’s 50th anniversary.
Tom Breen wrote an article about the beginnings of the program for UConn Today – which sounds very similar to the story of the UConn women’s basketball program in that it required a very humble recruiting trip to get the right person on board to get things started.
