Perceptive WFSB viewers may have recently noticed on-air promos for the 11 o’clock news featuring husband and wife Dennis House and Kara Sundlun as co-anchors.
While newsroom management says the pairing is not permanent it’s not hard to imagine things changing if the ratings show the audience likes the idea. Other options for the 11p.m. news are also being considered.
No matter how long it lasts, House and Sundlun are the only husband and wife anchor team in this market and as far as we know the only one we’ve ever had of significant duration.
