Former NBC CT and NECN anchor R.D. Sahl wrote an article for the Boston Globe on the lessons Muhammad Ali taught those living with Parkinson’s Disease.
Sahl reveals in the article that he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s two years ago.
During his years as an anchor and reporter in the Connecticut market Sahl was one of the most respected on-air journalists in the state. He is now retired from broadcasting and is an associate professor at Boston University’s College of Communications.
