CBS/PBS journalist Charlie Rose picked up his Fred Friendly Award from Quinnipiac University at an event in New York City Wednesday afternoon.
Rose is the 23rd recipient of the award. He said he can’t think of a better career than journalism and admitted to some envy of those just starting out in the business.
