Our friends at News Blues have been keeping track of the extreme weather truck trend sweeping the country.
And in this case word “extreme” usually describes the truck more than the weather. At least two stations in Connecticut have invested in radical 4 x 4’s.
The latest station to join the “ugly truck” trend is WBTV in Charlotte. The truck was delivered by the station’s helicopter.
ANOTHER UGLY TRUCK
WBTV-3-CBS in Charlotte (Market #22) recently rolled out its “Storm3” weather cruiser…a Toyota, conveniently supplied (and sponsored) by Scott Clark, a Toyota dealership in Charlotte.
“Storm3” even has its own Twitter account, which, presumably, it doesn’t write itself.
