There hasn’t been much news lately on the Gannett effort to buy tronc(the company formerly known as Tribune Publishing).
That doesn’t mean nothing is happening.
At least one highly cited report suggests pressure is building on tronc to accept Gannett’s buyout offer. The next move in the drama may unfold in a Delaware courtroom where two shareholder lawsuits have been consolidated.
Tronc owns the Hartford Courant.
