The Hartford Courant is reporting a number of staff changes are being made in the office of Governor Malloy and at least one change will effect the communications office.

Long time aide Devon Puglia is leaving his position as communications director before the start of the next legislative session. The Courant reports he is expected to be replaced by Kelly Donnelly who currently works as chief of staff to the education commissioner.

Recent personnel departures in the administration are fueling speculation that Governor Malloy does not plan to seek re-election or may be getting ready to assume a role in Washington, D.C. if Hillary Clinton is elected president.
