Noah Finz, the former sports director and sports anchor at WTNH, is partnering with Frontier Communications to launch a new Connecticut sports network, The Laurel has learned.
Frontier plans to dedicate an entire channel to Connecticut high school, college, professional and recreational sports.
Vantage Sports Network from Frontier is scheduled to start programming Sept 12. The lineup includes a live nightly show, called CT Sports Now, highlighting statewide events. The network will also air Connecticut college and high school games, coaches’ shows and long-form features on local athletes.
The network will be available to all Connecticut Frontier subscribers on channels 600 and 1600.
