Hartford, CT—July 16, 2009— On Thursday, July 16th, at 11:00:00 AM, NBC Connecticut, will begin broadcasting the first high-definition (HD) newscast in Connecticut, offering viewers an enhanced viewing experience for local news and programming. Additionally, the station has completed construction on its state-of-the-art HD facility and will officially relocate on Monday, July 20th. The announcement was made today by David Doebler, President and General Manager, NBC Connecticut.
