The News 8 political team of Mark Davis and Joe Sferrazza will mark 33 years with the station this weekend(August 6).
They began work at News 8 on the same day and for much of their time at the station they have worked together covering politics. Such teamwork is rare in an industry dominated by market jumpers whose resumes read like the “W” and “K” sections of an old phone book(think about it).
In journalism, two occurrences of anything qualifies as “a trend” and ten years in one market qualifies as “legendary.” This means Mark and Joe qualify as legends in Connecticut television. So if you run into them on the street, address them accordingly, or simply say “thank you” and be on your way!
