Hope Hicks of Greenwich has been named White House communications director.

She will be the third person to hold the job depending on how you count Anthony Scaramucci. Hicks took over as interim director when Scaramucci left before actually starting and – at the time – insisted her new role would be temporary, but as is often the case in political operations, temporary becomes permanent because it is the path of least resistance.
