The president of Bristol based ESPN, John Skipper, has resigned citing a substance addiction. He joined the network in 1997 and became president in 2012.
In a statement Skipper said he had come to the conclusion the best thing he can do right now is take time off to deal with his condition – which he added he has struggled with for years.
