One week after sharing the Pulitzer Prize with two of her New York Times colleagues, Emily Steel, originally of East Lyme, was honored at the Matrix Awards.
Steel and her fellow reporters were honored for their work on the Harvey Weinstein story that helped fuel the #MeToo movement.
Also honored at the Matrix Awards ceremony this year was Mika Brzezinski(Fox 61/WFSB).
