CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King(WFSB) has been named to the list of inductees to the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame.
This is the 28th class for the B&C hall. When King began her broadcast career the back page classified ads in Broadcasting and Cable magazine were the primary way television and radio stations advertised for news talent. It was also not unusual for general manager’s to try to keep the magazine away from station personnel as a way of keeping reporters from leaving for bigger markets or as a means to keep upcoming staff changes secret.
