Tina Martin, former Anchor/Reporter at WFSB, is feeling the love in Boston these days.
Now a WGBH reporter, Tina was inducted into the WERS Hall of Fame recently during Emerson College’s alumni weekend. The annual ceremony honors the achievements of alumni or faculty who have contributed to the success of WERS 88.9 FM, one of Emerson’s two college radio stations.
Her awards include the regional Edward R. Murrow award in 2016, along with two other reporters, for WGBH’s coverage of a 10-alarm fire, as well as an Emmy nomination for an episode of WGBH’s Basic Black which she hosted and addressed breast cancer in women of color. Nationally, she contributes to the PBS Newshour and is the host of “Local USA” on WORLD Channel network.
