Ryan Francis Hanrahan and Paul Daniel Donato are to be married July 15 at the Harbor Lounge, a cocktail lounge in Provincetown, Mass. Mark Ojakian, a friend of the couple who obtained a one-day marriage designation for the occasion from the state of Massachusetts, is to officiate.
Mr. Hanrahan (left), 33, is the chief meteorologist at WVIT, a television station with headquarters in West Hartford, Conn. He graduated from Penn State University.
He is a son of Cynthia M. Hanrahan and Brian M. Hanrahan of Guilford, Conn. His mother works as a clinical social worker at public schools in Branford, Conn., and in private practice in Guilford. His father retired as a branch operating manager in Hamden, Conn., for the Graybar Electric Company, a power company based in St. Louis, Mo.
Mr. Donato, 34, is a fifth-grade teacher at Cross Street Intermediate School in Naugatuck, Conn. He graduated from Central Connecticut State University and received a master’s degree in special education from the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford.
He is a son of Lois A. Donato and Michael D. Donato of Harwinton, Conn. His mother retired as a secretary at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Conn. His father retired as a sergeant for the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles.
The couple met in 2008 at a bar in New Haven, where they were introduced by a mutual friend.
