Veteran Connecticut broadcaster Larry Rifkin has launched a podcast, “America Trends.” It’s part of Mental Health News Radio, and will examine the intersection between individual mental health and a wide range of national political and social trends. The twice-a-week podcast will be produced at WATR studios in Waterbury, where Larry was a talk show host for many years. He was also a programming executive at CPTV and is credited with bringing Barney to television.
