Fox business/news reporter Melissa Francis has been off the air since October 7th. According to the LA Times and social media journalist Yashar Ali, it’s the result of her approaching Fox News Media with claims of pay disparity based on gender discrimination (as in, the guys getting more money).
Most stories about her mention that she was a child actress who appeared on “Little House on the Prairie.” We’re more interested in the fact that she was a reporter with WFSB from 1998 to the early 2000s. We remember her dealing with a sexist news director back then.
