A new report from the RTDNA says attacks on journalists in the United States were up last year. Most of the attacks were associated with reporters and photographers covering protests related to race relations and police violence.
The RTDNA is using its findings to lobby Congress to pass a bill written to protect reporters and another that would make clear the right of anyone to record police while they are on duty.
