Rob Blanchard is leaving Connecticut and will start next month at NYC-based financial p.r. firm Prosek. He has been a fixture in Connecticut politics since he came to the state 11 years ago to work on Dan Malloy’s 2010 gubernatorial campaign. Since then, he’s been a part of numerous Democratic campaigns, including most recently Ted Kennedy, Jr and Ned Lamont, and worked in the offices of former AG George Jepsen and McDowell Communications Group. He was also a Middletown City Council member and chaired the Democratic Town Committee. For the last three years he has been a mainstay in Governor Lamont’s office, most recently with the title of Deputy Communications Director.
Rob, we’re happy for you but hate to see you go!
