The former long-time head of programming at CPTV, Larry Rifkin, is coming out with a new Kindle Direct Publishing book in a few weeks reflecting on his career in the public broadcasting.
Rifkin’s book will detail his efforts to save Barney the dinosaur from extinction and the creation of UConn women’s basketball as a top audience grabber. The book is titled “No Dead Air.” Rifkin has nearly a dozen book talks scheduled around the state starting next month.
