Rick Green left the Courant last week and now we can report where he’s going next: WTNH, channel 8. Here’s the staff memo from News Director Chuck Carter:
I am very happy to announce that veteran Connecticut journalist Rick Green is joining our News 8 team.
He brings of wealth of experience and contacts to his new role as the Managing Editor.
Rick has spent most of his long career at the Hartford Courant in a number of roles, but most recently he was the Director of Content.
He is the recipient of several awards including “Master Reporter” by the New England Association of Newspaper Executives.
We believe his editorial contributions will be an asset that will enhance our content on multiple platforms.
Rick’s first day will be Monday, January 31. Please welcome Rick to the team.
