Axios has an inside look at the line-up change at MSNBC which will extend Morning Joe by one hour and move Stephanie Ruhle to the 11p.m. to replace Brian Williams.
The insider account has Mika Brzezinski(WFSB/Fox 61) and Joe Scarborough(former Connecticut resident) welcoming the change, but raising concerns about how the extra hour will effect the production team.
It’s clear NBC was not ready to make the announcement when the news broke last week and in a staff meeting management was not ready to say who will replace Rachel Maddow, who is expected to give up daily hosting duties sometime in the first half of this year.
