Big Al Warren, a fixture of WICC radio in Bridgeport since the 1960s has died.
The station made the announcement over the weekend. Most of Warren’s career spanned an era during which local radio personalities held great sway over their markets, local culture, news and politics. Since the announcement of his death, many have published tributes on line.
