Former Connecticut Associated Press reporter Matt Apuzzo has been promoted to the position of International Investigations Editor for the New York Times.
It is a new position for the Times, created with Apuzzo in mind.
Based in Brussels, he will serve as a “player-coach” for a team of reporters. As of this writing, the full team has not been assembled. Apuzzo has been based in Brussels for most of the last four years.
